Job Description

The Director, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing an impactful, customer-centric, marketing strategy to drive long-term brand awareness and year over year revenue growth. They will be a key strategic contributor in a wide variety of areas including revenue growth, campaign launches, branding, and all digital initiatives including but not limited to SEO, search, and the website/social media. The Director, Marketing will support the translation of Humentum’s Strategic Plan and Theory of Change into specific marketing initiatives designed to achieve the business objectives of each product line (“pillar”). They must have the proven ability to create, communicate, and achieve a marketing vision, while providing strategic and marketing leadership in in a global and digital market. 

This position is a remote, home-based position that works as part of a wider remote, global team. You will need to work independently and as well as part of the team to achieve team-based targets. You must possess both the ability and environment to work virtually: reliable connection to high-speed internet, appropriate environment for leading and participating in virtual meetings with enabled video. You must be able to work 13:00 to 16:00 UTC.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing strategy: Partner with cross-functional leaders, marketing team members, and partners to spearhead a comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on new client acquisition, existing client expansion/cross-selling and thought-leadership and brand awareness. 

  • Own the Humentum brand and ensure that all our marketing as well as product teams are trained and equipped to create assets that align and enhance the brand. 

  • Lead the development and execution of annual and quarterly marketing plans that drive revenue growth and long-term brand awareness in multiple markets. 

  • Influence present and future products by identifying and evaluating current and future market trends 

  • Accountable for ROI of all marketing investments; and leveraging our analytics to enable continuous learning, campaign impact and product optimization 

  • Ensure best-in-class corporate website and social media presence  

  • Responsible for the strategic customer relationship management (CRM) function for Humentum; ensuring that we are growing, managing, and optimizing customer data for maximum impact. Build and maintain a high-performing, responsive, and agile team  

  • Contribute to the leadership and management of the Growth Team and Humentum overall by building cross-organization staff engagement in marketing campaign excellence. 


Qualifications and Requirements

 

  • Extensive proven experience in progressive leadership and marketing responsibilities  

  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles creating digital marketing experiences that drive revenue  

  • Prior experience working in professional services in a global market, with specific experience in the US, Europe, and Africa, strongly preferred.

  • Strong presentations skills: ability to inspire and energize others both internally and externally.

Total Rewards: Compensation for this role is as set out in Humentum’s Total Rewards policy. The starting salary for the role is grade C at Step 1, paid either on the US scale for US-based staff or global scale for all other locations.
