ABOUT THE NONPROFIT

Little Lions Child Coaching

Little Lions Child Coaching has the vision to normalise mental health conversations. We are a community-based, youth-led mental health organisation that offers free mental health workshops to children in under-resourced communities. We educate and train local role-models and organisations to become mental health coaches, giving them the professional tools to help children become mentally stronger. By giving children the ability to express their feelings, we aim to change the way children grow up. Our growth plans are to grow our financial sustainability through expanding our international funder partnerships, set up 100 implementation partnerships in the next 3-5 years, to increase our geographical reach, and to create mental health awareness campaigns. Our geographic focus area is Cape Town and Nairobi (Kenya), but we are likely to expand to other major South African cities in the next few years.
